1. Image Processing & Zero Retention

At VetVisit.io, we operate on a strict Zero Retention Policy for all user-uploaded media. When you upload photos of your pet, they are temporarily stored locally on your device (via your browser's localStorage) strictly for the duration of your active session.

Once your informational triage report is generated, or when you return to the homepage to start a new scan, these images are permanently wiped from your browser memory. We do not store, host, or save your photos on our servers or databases.

2. Third-Party AI Engine

To provide instant, advanced visual analysis, VetVisit.io securely transmits your uploaded images to a third-party artificial intelligence provider (OpenAI) via an encrypted API connection.

The images are processed in real-time by their machine learning models solely to generate your informational triage report. Under our API agreement, the AI provider does not use your images to train their models, and the data is discarded immediately after the analysis is returned to our system.

3. Payment Security

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. VetVisit.io does not collect, process, or store your credit card information, billing address, or financial data on our servers. You are subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service during the checkout process.

4. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising Pixels

We use analytics and tracking tools, including Google Analytics, as well as advertising pixels from Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and TikTok. These tools help us understand how users interact with our website and measure the performance of our ad campaigns.

These third-party platforms use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect or receive information from your website session and elsewhere on the internet. They use this information to provide measurement services, track conversions, and deliver targeted advertising. By using our site, you consent to the processing of data by these third-party platforms for these measurement and advertising purposes.

5. Children's Privacy

VetVisit.io is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

                We are NOT a veterinary clinic. This tool does not constitute a veterinary-client-patient relationship (VCPR). The generated reports are not medical diagnoses, prognoses, or prescribed treatments. If your pet is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, severe pain, or heavy bleeding, bypass this tool entirely and contact your nearest emergency veterinary hospital immediately.
