1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VetVisit.io ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. The Service is operated by VetVisit.io LLC.

2. Crucial Medical Disclaimer (No VCPR)

                NOT VETERINARY MEDICINE: VetVisit.io is an artificial intelligence platform designed to provide educational triage and informational analysis based on visual pattern recognition. 
                
                Use of this Service DOES NOT create a Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR). We do not diagnose, treat, prescribe medications for, or cure any animal diseases. The information provided by the MAGG.IE™ engine is for guidance only and is never a substitute for an in-person examination by a licensed veterinarian. 
                
                If your pet is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, stop using this tool immediately and seek local emergency veterinary care.

3. Acceptable Use & "Assume Animal" Policy

The Service is strictly built and calibrated for animal use (specifically domestic pets such as dogs and cats). You agree not to upload photos of human medical conditions.

Due to the nature of our AI vision processing, our engine is instructed to interpret all uploaded imagery as animal tissue/anatomy. Uploading human imagery violates our acceptable use policy and any output generated in such instances is explicitly void and not applicable to human health.

4. Payments, Deliverables & Refunds

The Service requires a one-time payment (processed via Stripe) to unlock the encrypted informational triage report. Because the generation of this report incurs immediate computational API costs on our end, standard sales are generally final once the report is successfully rendered.

The Blurry Photo Guarantee: If the AI engine is unable to analyze your photo due to poor lighting or blurriness, or if a technical server error prevents the generation of your informational report, please contact hi@vetvisit.io with your Stripe receipt. We will manually review the error and happily issue a refund.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VetVisit.io LLC, its developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including, without limitation, the worsening of a pet's condition, injury, or death—resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service. You assume full responsibility for your pet's healthcare decisions.

6. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time; the most current version will always be posted on this page.

7. Data Collection & Advertising Pixels

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to our use of third-party analytics and advertising technologies, including tracking pixels from Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook, Instagram), and TikTok. These tools collect data regarding your interaction with our website to measure performance and deliver targeted advertisements. Your continued use of the Service constitutes your explicit consent to this data collection and processing, as further detailed in our Privacy Policy.
